I’m a massive fan of Glossier. Some of their products have even made HG status for me. I was always hesitant to try their Generation G lipsticks because I had heard horrible reviews about the cheap packaging always breaking, but Glossier recently reformulated their whole product, including a sleek, sturdy new design. So naturally… I picked one up.
Covergirl recently announced that they are officially Leaping Bunny certified by Cruelty Free International, which means they’re now a Cruelty Free makeup brand – the largest in the world! My friends over at Influenster sent along a few of their new products to test out, and let me tell you, Cruelty Free looks great on them.
So my wedding is just around the corner (I KNOW! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!) and everything is slowly falling in to place. But one thing I still haven’t locked down is my wedding day makeup. Ironic since I’m a beauty blogger… That is, except for my lipstick. My amazing sister helped put together the most unreal bachelorette day ever, which so fittingly included creating custom lipsticks at the Bite Lip Lab here in Toronto! So here’s one thing I can check off my wedding list…
Kat Von D’s hotly anticipated relaunch of the Studded Kiss Crème Lipsticks have finally hit shelves, and I was lucky enough to receive none other than the OG Lolita to review from the wonderful folks at Influenster!
On my recent trip to the US I popped in to Neiman Marcus to see what kind of beauty products they were stocking that I hadn’t seen in Canada before. After doing more research, I’ve found that KNC Beauty is actually available in Canada, which is great because after trying their Collagen Infused Lip Masks I know I’ll need to be repurchasing more soon.
If you’ve been following me for a while now you know how much I love Influenster – if you don’t know what it is, I seriously recommend checking it out. Its a place where you can write reviews (not just on beauty either) and receive free products from amazing brands to test out.
I’ve been lucky enough to receive quite a few boxes, in fact, I’ve already tired out The Lip Pencil from Bite Beauty before through Influenster. But this box was definitely one of the best! This time I’m putting the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks to the test!
I’m always looking to try out new products, so when the lovely folks over at Beauty Lyric reached out about sending me some items from Touch In Sol, I was eager to give them a try.
Despite the fact that lipsticks tend to make up the bulk of my makeup collection, I’m very picky about what I put on my pout. That said, there are two new additions to my collection that I just had to mention.
