2018 is coming to a close, so you know what that means… It’s time for my annual Best of! First off, let’s talk makeup…
I’ve finally done it. I’ve found my perfect every day basic nude eyeshadow palette, and it comes in the form of Chanel’s latest Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow quad in 308 Clair Obscur.

Alright folks! It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The big reveal of my Best of 2016: Makeup Edition! We’ve had some highs and lows, but these beauties have truly brought me joy this year.
Let me know what you’re 2016 beauty favourites are in the comments below, and don’t forget to check out my skincare favourites if you haven’t already!
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect bronzer for quite some time now. And while I absolutely adore my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer, I knew I wanted to to try something different. The idea of a cream bronzer has been really appealing to me – I feel like powder bronzers can often look either dry and dirty, or super sparkly. I had been reading great reviews about the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel and it had been on my to-try list for months, but it wasn’t until a recent trip to Duty Free that prompted me to actually purchase it for myself.
I’ve really been loving cream products the past few weeks, from the Marc Jacobs Glow Stick that I reviewed last month, to some relatively new purchases, these are the “cream of the crop” (see what I did there).
I can’t believe it’s already 2016! What better way to start off a new year, than with a round up of all of my favourite beauty products from 2015. I’ve tried to narrow down, to the best of my ability, (you’ll notice that I’ve failed miserably in this attempt for certain categories), each element of my beauty routine. What made your 2015 round up? I’d love to hear – let me know by tweeting me at @CourtneyParkes!
