Review: Living Proof Color Care Whipped Glaze

Right. Guys. I’ve been dying my hair blonde for nearly two decades so I know all about brassy hair. I’ve tried just about every toning and purple shampoo and conditioner on the market and while I’ve certainly found some worthy products, I’m always seeking the best and literal brightest when it comes to blonde haircare. Recently, Living Proof launched their Color Care Whipped Glaze, and it’s not something I’ve ever seen before, so of course, I wanted to give it a try.

I picked up the mini of the Whipped Glaze first to try it out, but after only a few uses I’m certain I will be picking up the full size. This mousse-like product is meant to be used in clean, towel dried hair, as a way to temporarily dye and rebalance tone.

I find the product works best if you section out your hair and comb through in pieces, but once it’s evenly distributed you can go straight ahead with blow drying and styling.

After using this product my hair instantly looks brighter and blonder. I’m honestly so surprised at the result. Although I’m not sure it will replace a purple shampoo/conditioner for me, I think this is a great little way to amp up the blonde in between colourings. It is worth noting that the Glaze does leave a slight grit to the hair, which, in my opinion makes styling even easier, but some might find it annoying.

The Color Care Whipped Glaze also comes in a dark-hair formula too! If you’re a brunette and you’ve tried it, let me know what you think! A+ Living Proof, I love this new little discovery!
