Review: Giorgio Armani Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow and Eyes to Kill Designer Liner

Giorgio Armani are definitely known for their exceptional beauty products – hello, Luminous Silk anyone? Well I’m happy to say that they’ve done it again with their latest Eye Tints and Liner.

Let me start with the star of the show here – the Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow. I was lucky enough to receive four shades: three metallic – Rose Gold, Gold Foil and Halo – and one shimmer finish – Rose Ashes. As you would expect, the shimmer finish is much more subtle than the metallic, but the Rose Ashes shade gives your lids a beautiful natural glow. While all of the shades are long wearing I would say the metallics last slightly longer than the shimmer shade.

Top to Bottom: Halo, Gold Foil, Rose Gold, Gold Ashes

By far my favourite shade is Halo – its a gorgeous metallic taupe. I like to apply a thin layer all over the lid for a sheer, every-day look. It’s so glowy that it almost looks like you’re wearing a glossy balm on your lids, except this product is long-wearing and doesn’t crease (thank the makeup Gods!).

The applicators have a great point to them which allows you to get right into the corner of your eyes, and the formula is easy to blend out and build for just the right amount of coverage. Definitely a product worth of an A+, amazing as always Armani!

Next up we have the Eyes to Kill Designer Liner in Onyx. I don’t use liquid liner that often, but when I do, it has to be fool proof. Thankfully this liner fits the bill. The felt tip makes it easy to apply, and the formula is super pigmented and smudge proof (even on my oily eyelids). That’s another A for you Armani. What Armani products are your favourites?
