I originally saw this bag a few months ago and instantly knew I wanted it. I had been on the look out for a cross-body with an adjustable strap that I could also wear as a shoulder bag, but nothing really striked my fancy. I’m a massive fan of Fendi (my first designer bag was Fendi, as was my wedding dress), and I particularly love their Zucca print. This bag checked off all the boxes for me.
The Camera Case comes in two sizes, and in a variety of colours and patterns. I went for a more traditional look in the smaller size, canvas Zucca with leather in black. The Mini is pretty small so it may take some getting used to if you typically use larger totes. What sold me on this size was that it fit all of my necessities, including an umbrella for rainy days.
On a typical day, I would fill my Mini Camera Case with my iPhone X, Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Key Cley (which holds all my cards, cash and keys), my AirPods and their elago case, RayBan sunglasses/glasses (in their case) and a small makeup pouch.
The makeup pouch I purchased from Muji and is made of a sort of silicone, which means my bag is protected from any nasty spills I might have. Inside I have a bag hook, also from Muji, my Clé de Peau concealer, cherry Chapstick, Glossier Generation G in Cake and Rodin x Vanessa Traina Lip & Cheek Oil.
While I’m sure what I carry in my bag will change over time, I can definitely see myself wearing this for years to come. It’s incredibly versatile while remaining classic. You can use this as an every-day bag or dress it up. In fact, I’m planning on wearing this to my sister’s wedding in the summer!
Now with every bag, there comes some cons. In this case they’re pretty minor, but definitely worth noting. First, expect some discomfort putting your hand in and out of the bag – the zipper is pretty stiff and scratches your skin slightly. And while the shape of the bag is fairly structured, if it’s not filled completely it will start to mold around the curve of your body. As I use the bag more I expect to see some more distortion with the shape, but nothing too dramatic. Also be careful putting things like keys in and out of the bag, as not to scratch the leather. So far it’s been incredibly durable, but I’ve also been cautious so who knows.
Overall I’m completely thrilled with my purchase and have zero regrets. If you’re interested in the Fendi Camera Case or Mini Camera Case I definitely recommend checking it out in-store if you can! I purchased mine from Luisaviaroma, which meant I was able to get a slight discount from coupons and Ebates, and let me tell you, every bit helps!
Hopefully this review helped a few of you out! And let me know if you’d like to see more content like this on my blog in the future!
