Since having my under eye filler done, my whole perspective on covering up my dark circles has changed, and for the first time ever I’m skipping the concealer.
I know, I can’t believe I said it too. No concealer? What could I possibly be thinking! But hear me out, these two little beauty miracles have me feeling fresh af.
I like to kick things off with the brand new Becca Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer. At first I thought this product might be gimmicky. Who needs an under eye primer? Well apparently, I do.
The light blue balm comes in a clear plastic container and is meant to be applied on clean skin before concealer. The primer preps the skin for a smooth makeup application, cooling, reducing puffiness and blurring fine lines. It’s infused with cucumber, matcha green tea and caffeine and has a silky texture similar to silicone based primers.
After my eyes are sufficiently prepped I’ve been applying the cult classic YSL Touche Eclat Radiance Perfecting Pen. For the longest time I thought my dark under eye circles were too far gone for this pen to really have any effect, but now I just click up some of it’s glorious pink liquid for the perfect counter to what’s left of my dark circles.
The award-winning pen is like a magic wand, brightening, smoothing and perfecting my under eyes for a natural, but glowy finish. Touche Elcat means touch of light or glow, and that’s exactly what this product does. The light-infused pigment brings light to the under eye area without caking or creasing, and with vitamin E and hyaluronic acid you can feel good about what you’re putting on your skin.
Of course I owe this new routine to my filler, but if you’re sick of concealer caking up, or are just looking for something a little lighter, I can’t recommend this combination enough. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my concealer and haven’t given it up completely, but these two products really have revolutionized my makeup routine! A+ Becca and YSL!
