Review: Garner Fructis Hair Treats Repairing Treat with Papaya Extract

I’m not usually a stickler for hair products, in fact most of my shampoos and conditioners come from the drugstore. So it’s really great when an affordable haircare brand comes out with a product that rivals its high end counterparts.

I recently received the brand new Garner Fructis Hair Treats Repairing Treat with Papaya Extract, which is one of five new treatments from the brand. Because my hair is processed, I’m definitely in need of some repair and this One Minute hair mask really does the job.

Each of Garnier Fructis’ Hair Treats are made with 98% naturally derived ingredients, and enriched with super fruits.

The best thing about these Hair Treats though is their three possible uses. First, as a One Minute hair mask, then as a conditioner, and finally as a leave in. My favourite way to use this product is as a mask while I’m in the shower. The fact that in only requires one minute is absolutely perfect – there’s nothing I hate more than having to wash my hair, then wait 10-15 minutes for a mask to set in, then hop back in the shower. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

The formula is also 94% biodegradable and 100% vegan with no silicones, parabens or artificial colorants, so you can feel good about what you’re putting in your hair.

My only gripe with this product is probably a scent. Don’t get me wrong, if you love fruity scents, you will probably love this. But I’m definitely more of a warm-vanilla girl, so this is just a little too fresh for me. I’m actually interested in checking out some of the other treatments, like the Nourishing Treat with Coconut Extract!
