Review: Givenchy Noir Interdit Mascara

Looking for the pinnacle of high-end mascara? Look no further than Givenchy’s Noir Interdit. Innovative, chic, and unparalleled quality.

Lets start with the packaging. Seriously, I’ve never seen anything quite like it – it’s beautifully designed, with a ribbon-like texture along the side of the sleek black tube. But the bold design doesn’t end there. The highlight of the mascara is their 90° bendable brush.

The brush takes a minute to get used to, but it really maximizes the ease in which you apply your mascara. It’s truly customizable to your preferences, so even if you want to use the brush straight, or on a slight angle, you’re able to coat every lash perfectly.

As for the mascara itself, the deep black formula separates and lengthens for a natural, fluttery look, but can easily be built up for a more dramatic look.

My one caution about this product is the brush bristles. Because of it’s angle, it really gets to the base of your lashes. But the brush itself is made of stiff plastic bristles, so you need to be careful not poke yourself in the eye (trust me, it happens more often than not).

Overall, I’d rate this mascara a B. I haven’t tried much from Givenchy Beauty, but this has me interested in testing out more. Have you tried the Noir Interdit? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
