Review: Dior Lip Tattoo

There’s nothing I love more than a good pink lip. But there’s also nothing I hate more than having to reapply said lip. So when I heard that Dior was releasing stains, and with the name Lip Tattoo, I knew I was in for a treat…

Dior’s new Lip Tattoo actually only comes in five shades (I’m sure a range they’ll expand as time goes on) but I was immediately drawn to the Natural Pink colour, which is anything but natural.

The no-transfer lip stain comes in a beautiful bottle, not unlike their lip glosses, and applies similarly with a doe-foot applicator. The product glides on very smoothly, with an almost watery texture. But dries down to a satin finish that looks incredibly natural.

The brand describes this as a weightless, bare-lip sensation and I couldn’t agree more. And while I’m not convinced of the 10-hour wear, it certainly does last on the lips for much longer than normal lipsticks, and does not transfer whatsoever.

This stain can be worn both on it’s own, or under lip gloss. But my personal favourite way apply is to the centre of my lips, and quickly blend out before it sets, to create a perfectly blurred pout.

I’m actually so in love with this lip product that I think I’m going to pick up a few more shades. I currently have my eye on the Natural Rosewood and Natural Cherry. Have you tried the new Lip Tattoos? Let me know what you think in the comments below! I’m going to give this one a A+! Bravo Dior!

  1. I am in looooooove with this in Natural Cherry, so much that I ordered the pink one this morning <3 I also like that it doesn't have a super strong fragrance.
