Review: By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Foundation

I’m not afraid to say that I love my luxury beauty. In fact, nine out of ten times, I would rather splurge on something that will perform better than save a few bucks for something mediocre. That said, never before in my life have I spent $150+ on a foundation… until now.

I’ve had the By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Foundation on make makeup wish list for quite some time, and since running out of my Armani Luminous Silk, I thought what better time to splurge then now. It also helps that I’m in the process of researching for the best possible wedding day makeup!

This foundation is truly unlike anything I’ve ever used before. It feels almost more like skincare than makeup. It has a very light spa-like scent to it, and goes on the skin incredibly smooth – similar to a silicone primer (but without that silicone slip that I hate).

The foundation contains a ‘wrinkle control’ serum which claims to offer long-term anti-aging benefits, as well as immediate correcting effects – firming skin and smoothing fine lines. I can’t say much about the long-term effects, but I can certainly attest to the immediate correction. This foundation blurs my skin like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Fine lines? Buh bye. Pores? Nah. Seriously, this stuff makes my skin look f-l-a-w-l-e-s-s, without looking like I’m wearing makeup.

The only downside to this product (aside from the price of course) – I can’t seem to apply it with a brush! When I try, it balls up or flakes. It’s really hard to explain. I mean it doesn’t look terrible, and I can make it work, but I definitely prefer using a damp beauty blender!

So, do we have a wedding foundation contender? I’d say yes! A+ By Terry!
