Review: Ren EverCalm Ultra Comforting Rescue Mask

I’ve been on a real skincare kick as of late, and when I saw that Ren had come out with a new mask targeted to red, reactive skin, I knew I had to test it out. Meet EverCalm, Ren’s new Ultra Comfort Rescue Mask for sensitive skin.

I first heard about this mask through MakeupByCheryl, who did a rave review over on her YouTube channel. As you know I suffer from eczema, so finding a mask that claims to “instantly reduces redness, irritation, itchiness, and visible inflammation” sounded like a dream come true for me.

The mask contains white mushroom extract which is said to help block irritation. You apply a generous layer to your skin and leave on for 10-minutes for instant relief.

Honestly, this mask really works. I don’t say that lightly. I’ve tried many different things to try to relieve my irritated skin and very few work. This one, I’m happy to say, is now one of those few.

I apply the mask a few times a week, or as needed, and poof – no more redness. The consistency is like a really thick cream, that absorbs in to the skin over time. I like to remove the mask with a damp cotton pad because I feel like its gentle enough on my skin, while still getting off the bulk of the product.

If you’re like me and you suffer from sensitive or irritated skin, I say definitely give this one a try. A+ Ren – way to nail it!
