Review: Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque

One of my lovely followers recently sent me a note asking what I would suggest to help clear blackheads and I realized I hadn’t really talked about one of my all time favourite clearing masks, the Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Masque.

The first thing you need to know, if you don’t read my blog, is that I have dry/dehydrated, sensitive skin, so you won’t see me using any harsh chemicals if I can help it.

That’s one of the things I love about this mask – it’s detoxifying without being overly drying. Aesop’s entirely line is fairly natural, and this mask in particular uses a blend of clays and botanicals to remove impurities.

The Parsley Seed extra helps to deliver antioxidants while the clays help give a deep cleanse, making sure your skin remains balanced throughout the whole process.

All you need to do is apply a thin layer and leave it on for around 15 minutes before rinsing off with cool water. The scent of this mask makes you feel like you’re getting an authentic spa papering – with a combination of lavender and herbaceous. And your skin afterward will feel deeply cleansed, soft and refreshed.

If you have dry sensitive skin but are looking for something to really clear those pores, I can’t recommend this mask enough! A+ Aesop!
