Review: tenoverten Nail Polish

If you’re looking for a new nail polish brand to fall in love with, look no further!

I first discovered tenoverten on a whim at Sephora. I was looking for a neutral nail colour that was a bit different from everything I had seen on the market. The first colour that caught my eye was Mulberry – a beautiful dusty rose with a slight opal finish. Since then my collection has grown to include 10 different shades, with everything from soft nudes, to deep burgundies, to shimmering golds.

My favourites from the line are still the nude shades (that’s just my personal shade preference), but I honestly don’t think there’s a colour I wouldn’t buy. I believe there are 35 colours that you can choose from – all which are 8-free (free from formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, xylene, and triphenyl phosphate (TPHP)). The polishes are also cruelty free, vegan and made in the USA.

I also love the square packaging. It’s so different from everything else on the market. So sleek and simple, and stores perfectly when they’re all lined up! Like any normal nail polish – these will chip. I like to wear mine with the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, and they’ll like 3-5 days depending how I treat my nails. Over all not the longest lasting, but something I’m willing to look past especially with this shade range; I find myself wanting to switch my nails up to a cool new colour every few days!

That’s an A for you, tenoverten!
