I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect bronzer for quite some time now. And while I absolutely adore my Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer, I knew I wanted to to try something different. The idea of a cream bronzer has been really appealing to me – I feel like powder bronzers can often look either dry and dirty, or super sparkly. I had been reading great reviews about the Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel and it had been on my to-try list for months, but it wasn’t until a recent trip to Duty Free that prompted me to actually purchase it for myself.
First, the product in the pot looks very misleading. It actually appears to be very orange-toned and sparkly (two things I was definitely not keen on). But when you apply it to your face it’s a whole other story.
This bronzer looks incredibly natural, and gives me that perfect, authentic, sun-kissed glow. I like to apply this with a stippling brush to ensure a sheer, even coverage, but you can definitely build up this product if you really want to.
The packaging on this is huge, which I don’t love – it’s definitely not travel friendly. But it has already found a place in my daily routine. In fact, I’ve been reaching for this on its own more and more, leaving behind some of my favourite blushes!
Overall I would give this product an A+! If you’re thinking about trying this bronzer, definitely give it a shot – you won’t be disappointed.
