Review: CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara

Attention Attention, Read all about it! I have a new mascara favourite, and it comes in the form of the CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara!

I feel like I will always be a drugstore mascara kind of gal. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’ve tried my fair share of high end mascaras – one of my favourites is still the Benefit Roller Lash – but for some reason I just keep going back to the drugstore.

On my latest trip to Rexall, I picked up the CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara, I had heard a friend talk about it and her lashes always look bomb. So I grabbed my usual Very Black shade and went straight in to testing it out.

First, the wand on this mascara is not like anything I’ve used before. It’s a spiky applicator, but the tip of the wand is much more dense than the bottom. In fact, the bottom of the wand barely has any spikes, which means sometimes the mascara can pool in to the empty space. But I think that’s what makes this mascara so good. The abundance of product really voluminizes your lashes, and the spiky tip helps to disperse it evenly.

The formula is very long lasting on me. Even when I used my cleansing oil to remove it, it’s a bit of a mission. Instead of melting away, it almost flakes off, which I don’t love, but I’m willing to look past that for the volume. THE VOLUME!

All in all, I would rate this product an A-
