The “Cream of the Crop”

I’ve really been loving cream products the past few weeks, from the Marc Jacobs Glow Stick that I reviewed last month, to some relatively new purchases, these are the “cream of the crop” (see what I did there).

Maybe it’s the weather changing, or maybe it’s my skin, but lately I’ve been loving the look of cream makeup. So much so that I recently picked up two new favourites.

First, the Burberry Face Contour Pen in the shade Medium No. 01 is a perfect contour and bronze stick. It’s slightly more warm than some of my other contour products, which is why I think it works so well as a bronzer. I love how easy it is to apply, just swipe in the hollows of your cheek, on your forehead, nose, or anywhere else you want to shape, and voila!

I love the precision of using a thin stick, and it blends out super well (I like to use my fingers or a stippling brush). The only downside, the price. And I have a feeling I’m going to go through this one fast.

I also recently got my hands on the Tata Harper Volumizing Lip and Chick Tint in Very Charming. I typically don’t love cream blushes; I find that they just absorb in to my skin too quickly. But for some reason this formula stays put. Bonus, you can apply it both to your lips and cheeks!

This colour is the perfect pink flush for me and I’ve been applying it mostly with my fingers. I also love to keep this in my purse for touch ups on the go!

Do you have any cream products that you love? I’ve been eyeing up the Soleil Tan De Chanel, so that may be my next purchase! Let me know what your favourites are in the comments!
