I recently saw that Rexall is now stocking Milani Cosmetics, which is by far one of my favourite drugstore brands. So I thought, what better time than to do a round up of my very own Milani collection.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you’ll know that I tend to splurge when it comes to beauty and skincare. Most of my favourite beauty products happen to be high-end, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have favourites from the drug store. In fact, some of the Milani Cosmetics products are go-to’s in my collection!
The Milani Belle Eyes Gel Powder Shadows have to be one of my all-time favourite formulas. They really do feel like a gel-powder, and they come in a great range of colours. The three that I have are Bella Caffe (top), Bella Ivory (middle) and Bella Cappuccino (bottom). All three shades are a Satin Matte. Bella Ivory is the perfect highlighting shade to brighten up any eye look, and Caffe and Cappuccino look great as a transition shade, in the crease, or all over the lid!
The Milani Rose Powder Blush is also one of my top picks, I have the shade American Beauty Rose, which is one of the limited edition colours that has a bit of a pearl sheen to it. I love this colour. It’s my perfect rosey pink, and reminds me of my holy grail blush, Heather Pop by Clinique! I intend on getting more shades from this range, so I’ll keep you posted!
I also have the Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso, which is a cult favourite among beauty bloggers and YouTubers. To be honest, I don’t love this blush. The formula is nice, however it’s a bit too shimmery for me, and I’m not a huge fan of coral shades on my skin tone. That said, it does look great with a tan, but maybe not my first pick.
Finally, my most recent Milani purchase, the Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer. This has to be, hands down, the most full-coverage foundation that I own. I usually like a light base, but I had heard such good things about this that I had to give it a try. And I was not disappointed! I love the way that this looks on my skin. It’s super full-coverage, but still manages to look natural. The only downside, the lightest shade is still a little bit too dark for me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m going to make it work because this stuff is amazing, but I think I could use one shade lighter!
What Milani products are your favourites? Let me know!
The Rose Powder Blush is my favourite! It blends really well and it’s just so pretty to look at lol
