I’m a big fan of Fresh skincare products. In fact, the Soy Face Cleanser has been a staple of my beauty routine for over a year now. I’ve dabbled in quite a few Fresh products, but one that I keep going back to is the Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Concentrate. And here’s why…
First, let me start by saying that I suffer from some pretty bad dark circles. It’s probably one of my biggest skin concerns, so finding an eye cream that hydrates my super-dry and sensitive under eye skin, while reducing that discolouration, is a big deal in my books.
I first picked this up because of that old home remedy to put tea bags on your eyes to help with dark circles. I saw ‘Black Tea’ and thought – maybe they’re on to something.
Now, I know that nothing will cure my dark circles. It’s a combination of hereditary genes and sleepless nights. But of all they eye-creams that I’ve tried (and yes, there are quite a few), this one does the best job.
Like all of Fresh’s products, the eye cream is made without Parabens, Sulfates or Phthalates. The cream itself is relatively thick, but this cooling formula sinks in to the skin quickly. And it’s the black tea ferment (kombucha) that helps soften, smooth, and brighten the appearance of skin.
All in all I would rate this product an A. The only downside is the price, which comes in at $100 CAD. But too be honest, I would pay anything if it got rid of my dark circles.
Do you know if any miracle eye creams? Let me know!
BONUS: There are SO many great products in Fresh’s Black Tea line and I also HIGHLY recommend the Instant Perfecting Mask if you want to splurge!
